Dog Attacks Boy

A six year old boy is recovering this morning after being viciously attacked by a rottweiller. 
Seth Conrad is being treated at Children’s Hospital for bites from the back of his neck to his knees. 
The dog attacked the child in front of a home on South High Street. 
Shaunta Swimm says her son was playing in the backyard when she heard barking then a scream. 
She was able to get the dog off of her son and take him to the hospital. 
Animal Control says the dog ran loose from the home. 
Since is the rottweiller’s first attack, the dog can stay at home. 
The dog owner was cited for not controlling the animal and not having a dog license.
